::This place might very well be my number one recommendation for visiting in Dili. This museum looks very professional and does a great job in telling it's visitors the story of the bloody 25-year struggle for independence the East-Timorese waged against Indonesia. You get to see some weapons and personal belongings of East-Timorese who got killed by the Indonesian military, and learn more about the resistance movement FRETILIN and the role the US and Australia played in this conflict.
